Accredited Personal Trainer Courses Online
Our online personal trainer courses are listed with ASQA – the registering body for Vocational and Education Training (VET) in Australia. Studying with Fitness Institute (RTO32089) means you’ll gain the recognised qualifications that meet the national standards of the fitness industry, getting you one step closer to your dream career. We don’t offer “fast track” or watered-down courses. Our dual-qualification ensures that you get the necessary skills within the full Certificate III in Fitness Qualification before competently progressing to Certificate IV in Fitness.
Certified Personal Trainer Course Online
If you want to study fully certified and comprehensive personal fitness trainer courses online, we have the PT program for you. Both our Certification III and Certification IV courses provide an in-depth foundation in fitness instruction, covering all aspects from exercise science, anatomy and nutrition to program design, strength and conditioning and business success.
Once you complete our online personal trainer course at your own pace, you’ll be fully qualified to work as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor and will have the knowledge to start your own business. This will enable you to register with the peak body, AusActive and be eligible for insurance as a Fitness Professional.
Some of the program stages we include in our online personal training courses include group exercise instructor, strength and conditioning and business success.
Additionally, for those already qualified and wanting to broaden their scope of practice, we also offer fully certified professional development courses registered with AusActive.
Upon completion of the Certificate III or IV in Fitness, graduates may choose from additional professional development courses including Boxing for Fitness (8 CECs) or Kids Fit (5-12 year olds) (5 CECs).

🎯 Banded Bow & Arrow Stretch – Thoracic Mobility Unlock! 🎯
Loosen up your upper back and shoulders with this killer Banded Bow & Arrow Stretch! This is perfect for improving thoracic rotation and prepping your body for lifting, throwing, or any upper-body work.
🔥 How to do it:
1️⃣ Anchor a resistance band to a rig at ground height.
2️⃣ Lie on your side with knees stacked at 90° and grab the band with your top hand.
3️⃣ Pull the band across your body like you’re drawing a bow, rotating through your thoracic spine.
4️⃣ Keep your bottom arm straight and let your top arm return to a stretched position.
5️⃣ Hold for a few seconds, then repeat!
🔹 Key Cues:
✔️ Keep knees together to lock in hip position.
✔️ Control the movement—no bouncing!
