Testimonials

Michael Ho

As a retiree in his mid-60s, Michael believes it is never too late and you are never too old to learn!

Having recently graduated with a Certificate III and IV in Fitness, we asked Michael to share with us what inspired him to complete his Fitness Qualifications and become an Exercise Professional!

A part-time Martial Arts instructor for over 15 years, Michael Ho believes this experience along with all he has learned during the course will allow him to help people in his community keep active!
Having worked out in a gym himself for over 5 years, Michael is now instructing seniors classes at Forever Fitness Exercise in Riverton and he is especially committed to helping others improve their health and wellbeing by staying fit.

In Michael’s own words…

” If an old man like me can finish the course, it should be very easy for the younger ones.
My humble advice to them is NEVER GIVE UP…KEEP GOING UNTIL YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE!
DISCIPLINE is the key to SUCCESS!
The Cert III & Cert IV in Fitness courses are packed with knowledge – I really enjoyed the sport science topics most.
I am still exercising 6 times a week including weight training and cardio workouts and I believe regular exercises can definitely help improve our physical and mental health and wellbeing,
Teaching classes for the seniors has been something I have always wanted to do.”

Congratulations Michael – we wish you all the very best on your fitness journey!
