Motivated to complete the Certificate III and IV in Fitness to help clients get the most out of their daily lives, gain energy and vitality, make healthier food choices for weight management and lead a physically active lifestyle, Zumba instructor Shontelle is well on the way to achieving her fitness career goals!

Shontelle’s fitness journey and lifestyle change started in 2011 and this inspired her to become a Zumba Fitness Instructor in 2012. Now, Shontelle’s goal is to become a Personal Trainer in order to assist others make positive changes to their health and wellbeing.

With the support of the teams at BMee Allied Health, Hervey Bay Health Club and the Fitness Institute VIP Support coaches, Shontelle is learning how to design effective exercise programs and provide evidenced based, healthy eating advice to help others achieve their body composition goals.

With an interest in functional fitness and total wellbeing, Shontelle is exploring the benefits of exercise on the mind, and the many benefits of being fit and healthy.

As a Personal Trainer, Shontelle will be able to achieve her goal of facilitating lifelong change for clients looking to make healthier choices with the foods they eat and the physical activity they engage in…
