In October, Philip participated in The Dawn Of The Deadlift Novice Competition, which was sponsored by Pure Strength and held at Strand Fitness Central.
This competition was open to anyone with no experience in a power or strength lifting comp previously.
The competition was run by Tasha Page, of Pure Strength, a current Australian Powerlifting champion.
