Seated Calf Raise

//Seated Calf Raise

A seated calf raise effectively isolates and strengthens the soleus muscle, the smaller calf muscle underneath the larger gastrocnemius muscle. This is because the knees need to be bent in order to engage the soleus.  Learn how to perform this movement with the team at Fitness Institute!

Remember to seek the advice of your fitness trainer, medical and/or allied health professionals, if you are new to exercise or have an injury or medical condition to consider.
