Did you know AUSactive (formerly known as Fitness Australia) provide a range of opportunities for registered Fitness Professionals to obtain Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for their own professional development and for helping others develop and earn qualifications?
For those invested in supporting the learning of others, it’s worth remembering your efforts mentoring students as part of an RTO structured Mentor program are eligible for CEC points.
AUSactive also allocates 5 CEC’s for each individual unit of competency from personal training courses (UOC) from a SIS30321 or SIS40221 Fitness qualification from Vocational Education Training (VET), like those in Fitness Institute’s short courses:
- Business Success (4 UOC)
- Strength & Conditioning (3 UOC)
- Group Fitness and Group Exercise Leader (3 UOC)
- Training Young People (Kids Fit 5-12 Years Old) (5 UOC’s).
Fitness Professionals can now also earn CECs when renewing their First Aid and CPR qualifications.
Please Note: Completing the Certificate III in Fitness & Certificate IV in Fitness continue to attract 20 CEC’s each.
