CEC’s for Mentoring & Specialty VET Fitness Courses!

Did you know AUSactive (formerly known as Fitness Australia) provide a range of opportunities for registered Fitness Professionals to obtain Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for their own professional development and for helping others develop and earn qualifications?

For those invested in supporting the learning of others, it’s worth remembering your efforts mentoring students as part of an RTO structured Mentor program are eligible for CEC points.

AUSactive also allocates 5 CEC’s for each individual unit of competency from personal training courses (UOC) from a SIS30321 or SIS40221 Fitness qualification from Vocational Education Training (VET), like those in Fitness Institute’s short courses:

Fitness Professionals can now also earn CECs when renewing their First Aid and CPR qualifications.

Please Note: Completing the Certificate III in FitnessCertificate IV in Fitness continue to attract 20 CEC’s each.

Fitness Institute Mentors who are registered with AUSactive are eligible for Continuing Education Credits (CEC) points to go towards re-registration.
